Mahindra on June 20, 2019 launched the Bolero Camper range of pickups. The camper is a four dour pickup aimed at builders, farmers, and wholesalers and will be available in four variants – Non-AC (2WD), 4WD, Gold VX and the Gold ZX which is a premium variant. Prices for the same will be Rs 7,25,868 for the Non-AC 2WD, Rs 7,52,980 for the 4WD, Rs 7,71,409 for the 2WD Gold VX and Rs 7,81,408 for the Gold ZX 2WD (all prices ex-showroom Pune)
Powering the Camper range is Mahindra’s m2DiCR four-cylinder turbocharged 2.5-litre diesel engine, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, putting out 62bhp at 3200rpm and 195Nm of torque at 1400-2200rpm. All variants come with power steering but power windows, air-conditioning, central locking, and a central console are features exclusive to the Gold ZX variant with the exception of air-conditioning being available on the gold VX variant.
The gold VX and ZX weigh in at 1710kg (kerb) and can carry a payload of upto 1000kg while the standard Camper 2WD and 4WD weigh in at 1675kg and 1770kg respectively and can carry a payload of upto 1035kg and 940kg respectively. Another factor that distinguishes the Gold ZX from the rest of the range is the faux leather interiors versus fabric interiors in the rest of the range. There is also a cash van variant available.

The Camper also comes with a three-year or one lakh km warranty and 24×7 roadside assistance for one year.
