Kia has finally disclosed the prices that buyers must pay in order to take the updated Seltos home. The SUV now gets three engine options - the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, the new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and the 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. We are going to classify the variants based on the engines they ship with.

Kia Seltos 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine

The Kia Seltos’ 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 113bhp of power and 144Nm of torque. The engine is either mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or an IVT automatic transmission gearbox.

The 1.5-litre NA petrol engine variant with the HTE MT trim starts at Rs 10.89 lakh for the facelifted Seltos. The HTK MT costs Rs 12.09 lakh, the HTK+ MT costs Rs 13.49 lakh, the HTX MT costs Rs 15.19 lakh, and the HTX with an IVT transmission costs Rs 16.59 lakh. This means that the price of the SUV with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine starts at Rs 10.89 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.19 lakh.

Kia Seltos 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine

The Kia Seltos now has a new engine option – the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which produces 158bhp and 253Nm of torque. The SUV previously had a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that used to produce 138bhp and 242Nm which is 20bhp and a 11Nm less than the new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that is on offer. This engine is either mated to an iMT gearbox or a DCT transmission system. There is no manual transmission on offer here.

For those interested in the 1.5-litre Turbo Petrol engine, the HTK+ iMT variant is priced at Rs 14.99 lakh, while the HTX+ iMT comes in at Rs 18.29 lakh.

The lineup also includes the HTX+ DCT at Rs 19.19 lakh, the GTX+ DCT at Rs 19.79 lakh, and the X-Line DCT at Rs 19.99 lakh as the top-tier option. This means that the price of the SUV with the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine starts at Rs 14.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.99 lakh.

Kia Seltos 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine

The Kia Seltos has a diesel engine on offer; this is the only option alongside the Hyundai Creta to ship with a diesel engine in the mid-size SUV segment. This engine produces 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. This engine is offered with either an iMT gearbox or a 6-speed AT transmission.

If you prefer a diesel engine, the 1.5-litre diesel lineup starts with the HTE iMT priced at Rs 11.99 lakh, followed by the HTK iMT at Rs 13.59 lakh and the HTK+ iMT at Rs 14.99 lakh. The HTX iMT is available at Rs 16.69 lakh, while the HTX+ iMT offers a higher trim option at Rs 18.29 lakh. For those looking for a fully automatic transmission in the diesel lineup, the HTX AT is priced at Rs 18.19 lakh, while the GTX+ AT tops the diesel range at Rs 19.79 lakh, followed by the X-Line AT at Rs 19.99 lakh.

This means that the prices of the 1.5-litre diesel variants start at Rs 11.99 lakh and go up to Rs 19.99 lakh.
