Kia Motors India today launched the Anniversary Edition of the Seltos to celebrate its first anniversary in the Indian market. The Seltos Anniversary Edition receives a bunch of cosmetic updates on the outside and no mechanical changes. The Anniversary Edition variant will be manufactured in a limited number of 6000 units and the owners of this particular variant will get a special ‘1st Anniversary Edition’ badge on their Seltos to flaunt.
On the outside, the Seltos Anniversary Edition is easily distinguishable from the standard Seltos. It gets a new design for the skid plates on the front with silver fins, orange accents surrounding the fog lamps, while the side sills also get orange accents and a Seltos logo. It runs on 17-inch black alloys with orange accents around the Kia logo in the centre and a rear skid plate with silver fins. Also, the Anniversary Edition of the Seltos has an increase in length by 60mm as compared to the standard Seltos.
The Anniversary Edition is available only with the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options, you cannot have one with a turbo-petrol engine. The petrol engine comes mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox whereas in the diesel comes paired to a six-speed manual.
On the inside, the Seltos Anniversary Edition gets the same features as in the regular HTX variant like a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ambient mood lighting, a flat-bottom steering wheel that is wrapped in leather and Kia’s connected car features the ‘UVO connect’ suite. In addition to this, the Anniversary Edition gets blacked out interiors and the seats now come in black leatherette with a honeycomb pattern. The manual transmission variants in the Anniversary Edition trim to get a remote start feature as well.

The Seltos Anniversary Edition will be available in four colour options out of which one is a monotone colour scheme – Aurora Black Pearl. The other three are dual-tone colours namely Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Pearl, Steel Silver with Aurora Black Pearl and Gravity Grey with Aurora Black Pearl. The Seltos Anniversary Edition is Rs 41,000 more expensive than the regular HTX variants at Rs 13.75 lakh for the petrol manual, Rs 14.75 lakh for the petrol automatic and Rs 14.85 lakh for the diesel manual.
