A week after launching the updated F-Pace SUV in India, Jaguar has announced that it has opened bookings for the F-Pace SVR. The SVR will be priced higher than the regular F-Pace and deliveries are expected to begin soon.
Unlike the regular F-Pace which gets both petrol and diesel options, the 2021 F-Pace SVR is available with a 5-litre V8 petrol engine which churns out a monstrous 543bhp and 700Nm of torque. This makes the F-Pace SVR capable of hitting the ton in 4 seconds flat! This V8 engine gets an 8-speed torque converter transmission, and it is also equipped with AWD, Intelligent Driveline Dynamics and 21-inch wheels as standard.
Visually there’s not much to differentiate the SVR from the regular F-Pace, as the SVR gets the same pixel LED headlamps with ‘Double J’ DRLs and the same front and rear bumpers as seen on the regular F-Pace. It does, however, get larger air intakes with black inserts, and a gloss black grille with a grey surround, which makes the SVR look slightly sportier.
The SVR comes with a new centre console much like the facelifted F-Pace that was just launched, and is equipped with the Pivi Pro infotainment system which comes with a 11.4-inch curved glass HD touch screen. It also gets Cabin Air Ionization with PM 2.5 filtration to improve the air quality inside the car. Other features include but are not limited to Adaptive Driving Beam, 3D surround camera with three different view options, 14-way adjustable front seats with heating/cooling function, heated rear seats, wireless charging, Windsor leather upholstery, Meridian audio system and optional semi-Aniline leather seats.
Prices of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR are yet to be announced, so expect to hear more from us on the pricing front. We expect it to be priced at approximately Rs 1.4 crore (ex-showroom).
