Isuzu has launched the Dmax V-cross facelift in India at Rs 15.51lakh

Isuzu Motors India Private Limited has launched the facelift version of the DMAX V-Cross pick-up truck today. It comes with a slightly tweaked styling, 20 new advancements. The Isuzu DMAX V-Cross is priced at Rs 15.51lakh.

Under the hood

The new V-Cross is powered by a BSIV compliant 2799cc 4-cylinder, common rail, turbo intercooled diesel engine that produces 132bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. The Isuzu DMAX V-Cross is equipped with off-roading features like the 4WD (shift-on-fly) drive mode, high ride suspension that offers higher ground clearance, a wider track with longer wheelbase. The chassis frame is designed with iGRIP feature (Isuzu Gravity Response Intelligent Platform) that ensures greater stability even at high speeds and sharp curves.

What’s new?

The design of the facelift version of the pick up truck is inspired by ‘Cyborg Orca’, the front of the new V-Cross comes with a new grille finely bundled with Bi-LED headlamps and distinctive sharp lines. Another addition is the fog lamps that feature Chrome Bezel. It will sport Diamond Cut 18-inch alloy wheels housed in flared wheel arches. In addition to all this, the V-Cross also gets new shark-fin antenna, roof-rails, newly designed side-step and all-black B-pillar that makes a ‘cool’ quotient. As the rear, the upgraded rear chrome bumper and embedded LED tail-lamps aptly complement the new design flow.

The V-Cross also comes with first-in-the-segment safety feature like the PESS (Passive Entry & Start Stop System) which allows easy and convenient access to the vehicle. It is also equipped with a host of safety features including the seat-belt with pre-tensioners & load limiter, speed sensitive auto door lock, co-driver seat belt reminder, HSA (Hill Start Assist) and HDC (Hill Descent Control), offering the best driving experience on as well as off-road.

The DMAX V-Cross is available in two trim levels: Standard Grade and High Grade (Z). The color options available in the V-Cross are – Sapphire Blue, Silky Pearl White apart from Ruby Red, Titanium Silver, Obsidian Grey, Cosmic Black and Splash White. Bookings for the new V-Cross is open at all dealerships, starting today.
