Honda Cars will unveil the next-gen City on March 16, that will be similar to the one which was showcased in Thailand at its world premiere just a few months ago. The new City will come with a few distinguishable changes that include a distinctive bold chrome grille that extends up to a set of LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs, it also gets dual-tone shades on the interior with a panoramic sunroof and faux aluminium trim on the dashboard to give the new city a more premium feel on the inside. The new City also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports the feature of Apple Car Play and Siri voice Command.
Coming to the engine specifications for the new City, it will be available with the same unit as its precursor that is the 1.5 petrol and diesel engines. Both the engines have been upgraded to be BS6 compliant and the petrol variant is expected to have a mild-hybrid system.
The new City will faceoff against its sedan counterparts that are the Volkswagen Vento, Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and the Toyota Yaris. The bookings for the new City is set to start once the car will be unveiled next month.
