Ford Endeavour Sport launched at Rs 35.10 lakh

Ford launched the Sport edition of the Endeavour today. Upgrades are limited to cosmetics only and mechanically it remains identical. Based on the Titanium+ trim, the Sport edition will be offered in all-black exteriors and interiors.

Launched at a price of Rs 35.10 lakh, the Sport will be the top-end variant in the Endeavour lineup. To justify its title, the Sport variant gets updates like smoked headlamps, a glossy black grille and blacked-out skid plates with chrome detailing. There’s more black treatment on the outside and that includes the premium looking black alloy wheels, roof rails, fender vents and ORVMs that also have also been blacked out to make the Endy look sporty yet elegant.

Under the hood, the Endeavour Sport gets the same 2-litre EcoBlue diesel engine that makes a 168bhp and 420Nm of torque. Paired to the world’s first 10-speed automatic gearbox, the Sport variant will be on offer with 4WD as standard.

Endeavour Sport will be available in three colours — Absolute Black, Diffused Silver and Diamond White. The Endeavour rivals the Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4 and the upcoming MG Gloster, and this particular variant is aimed at boosting sales ahead of the festive season.
