Ducati unveils 2025 Multistrada V4 range

The 2025 Multistrada V4 range has got more efficient and safer
Published on

Ducati has officially unveiled the 2025 Multistrada V4 series, introducing enhancements in design, technology, and efficiency. It includes the V4, V4 S and V4 Pikes Peak.

2025 Multistrada V4 design and feature upgrades

The new Multistrada V4 boasts a refreshed design. The front has been redesigned with more aggressive proportions, taking inspiration from the Panigale V4, featuring a double headlight setup. The exhaust is also now slimmer than before.

The updated 6.5-inch TFT display enhances usability with an intuitive interface for navigating ride modes, which include a new Wet Riding Mode and an evolved Enduro mode tailored for off-road adventures. The new Multistrada V4 also features three levels of EBC (Engine Brake Control).

Notably, the 2025 model introduces an Automatic Lowering Device, allowing the bike to lower itself by up to 30mm at speeds below 10kmph. This feature enhances manoeuvrability at low speeds and when stopping, making it easier for riders to handle the bike. In addition to the front-to-rear strategy that manages the rear brake even when the front control is used, the new Multistrada V4 now features a rear-to-front strategy that optimises braking power when the rear control is activated alone.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 powertrain and chassis upgrades

Under the skin, the Multistrada V4 continues with its 1158cc V4 Granturismo engine, now Euro 5+ compliant. Delivering 167.6bhp and 123.8Nm of torque, the numbers remain the same. For 2025, it features an extended cylinder deactivation strategy that reduces consumption by up to 6 per cent. This allows the rear cylinders to deactivate during certain riding conditions, enhancing fuel efficiency and increasing the bike’s overall range.

The Multistrada V4 boasts a lightweight and compact aluminium monocoque frame, complemented by a double-sided swingarm made of cast aluminium. This swingarm is mounted on a pivot that has been repositioned 1mm higher now, enhancing the anti-squat effect of the suspension for more precise and effective handling, even when fully loaded.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 S

Equipped with semi-active Skyhook suspension, the V4 S now features a Bump Detection feature that adapts to various road conditions. The self-levelling functionality ensures consistent performance whether riding solo, with a passenger or loaded with luggage.

A Forward Collision Warning (FCW) feature has also been added alongside features like Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak

This is the sportier version of the Multistrada V4 and features a 17-inch front wheel and a single-sided swingarm. For 2025, the Pikes Peak gets further optimised Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension that adapts to the rider’s style and road conditions. It also includes features like an Akrapovic titanium silencer and carbonfibre components.

With an advanced electronics package similar to the V4 S, the Pikes Peak variant also includes safety technologies like the Forward Collision Warning and improved night visibility.

2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 price and availability

The 2025 Multistrada V4 series will be available in Ducati dealerships overseas starting October 2024. These should make their way to India at the start of next year. But expect a price bump with the added features. The range is offered with a lot of optional accessories as well to suit the various needs of their riders.
