Volkswagen has launched the limited-edition Sound Edition of Taigun and Virtus. The Sound Edition is based on the Topline trim and is priced at Rs 16.33 lakh for the Tiagun and Rs 15.52 lakh for the Virtus. It is available only with the 1-litre TSI engine.
The Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus Sound Edition gets a subwoofer, an amplifier, and a retuned audio system. The Volkswagen Sound Edition has a 'Sound' badge on the B-pillar and equaliser graphics on the C-pillar. On the inside, the tweeters on the A-Pillar get a 'Sound' badge.
The Sound Edition has four colour schemes: Lava Blue, Carbon Steel Grey, Wild Cherry Red, and Rising Blue. It is also available in a dual-tone paint scheme with a white roof and white ORVM caps. Aside from that, everything else is the same as in the Topline trim.
However, the Topline trim on which it is based has also been updated. This trim now includes an electrically adjustable passenger seat, puddle lamps, and footwell lighting. These features are also available in the Sound Edition.
The Sound Edition costs Rs 30,000 more than the Topline trim. The Taigun Sound Edition is priced at Rs 16.33 lakh with a manual transmission and Rs 17.90 lakh with an automatic transmission. The Virtus Sound Edition, on the other hand, costs Rs 15.52 lakh with a manual transmission and Rs 16.77 lakh with an automatic transmission.
