Tata Motors launches the ‘King of SUVs’ festival, to offer discounts up to Rs 1.40 lakhs

Leading Indian auto manufacturer Tata Motors has launched a ‘King of SUVs’ festival to celebrate its achievement of selling over 2 million SUVs in the Indian market. As a celebratory gesture, the brand is offering special discounts and benefits up to Rs 1.40 lakhs on its range of ICE and EV SUVs.The benefits and discounts are valid till 31st July 

 Tata Motors’ flagship SUVs - Safari and Harrier, will be now available at a discounted price of Rs 15.49 lakhs (ex-showroom) and Rs 14.99 lakhs (ex-showroom), making it Rs 70,000 and Rs 50,000 cheaper respectively. Both the SUVs get a Kryotec 2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that puts out 168bhp of peak power and 350Nm of torque. The engine comes either mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. 

Tata Motors has made a name  in the EV space with the Nexon EV, as it’s one of the key products that dominated electric vehicle sales. The Nexon.ev gets benefits up to Rs 1.3 lakhs, whereas the Punch.ev built on the company’s Acti.ev architecture gets the benefits up to Rs 30,000. Nexon.ev comes with a two-battery pack option, a 30kWh Medium Range and a 40.5kWh Long Range. The torque output of both variants remains the same at 215Nm. However, the MR makes 127bhp of power, and the LR produces 142 bhp.
