The Tata Motors pavilion was abuzz with activity at the 2025 Auto Expo and there was no dearth of vehicles as the Indian company pulled out all the stops in showcasing both its passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle lineup. The highlight for most enthusiasts was the unveiling of the Tata Sierra and the Harrier.ev, but there was plenty more to keep the crowds occupied at the Tata Motors pavilion. Read on to know more.

Tata Motors passenger vehicles
Tata Motors’ brought a total of18 new cars and SUVs to the Auto Expo this year, and this included the Harrier.ev – the electric version of the Tata Harrier SUV, which was ‘summoned’ to the stage remotely.

The lineup also included the Avinya X concept, which was a peek at what a future Tata could look like, at the luxurious end of the spectrum. The much-awaited Tata Sierra was also unveiled at the 2025 Auto Expo, and it is expected that the iconic SUV will be available with both electric and ICE powertrains.

Also present at the Tata pavilion was a Tata Curvv zone, showcasing Tata’s SUV coupe, along with a Stealth zone, which featured the Stealth Edition models of Tata’s SUV like the Harrier and the Safari – both of which did look very fetching in their matte black avatars.

That wasn’t the end of the special editions from Tata however, as the company also displayed a series of models inspired by the Bandipur national park and tiger reserve in India – similar to the carmaker’s Kaziranga Editions which were on sale previously.

The carmaker also displayed a multi powertrain zone, featuring the Tata Punch and its EV, CNG and flex fuel powertrains. And of course, there was a dedicated section for Tata’s EV lineup.

Tata Motors commercial vehicles, trucks and buses
Tata Motors proudly displayed its commercial vehicles, trucks and bus range at the 2025 Auto Expo, which included 11 cargo carriers and 3 passenger carriers. They also highlighted that all of these 14 vehicles showcased were equipped with smart ADAS features. The vehicles on display were from different ends of the spectrum.

For example, the Tata Ace Pro EV on display was aimed at intra-city, last-mile operations. On the other hand, you had the Prima E.55S, a BEV tractor unit which aims to make logistics operations greener by eliminating the use of an ICE engine.

That’s not to say that the commercial lineup did not consist of ICE-powered vehicles however. Tata unveiled its Prima 35.K Auto Shift, claimed to be the ideal solution for deep mining operations, while the Prima H.28 is an indigenously developed ICE-powered truck with a range of 550km.
And speaking of range, Tata also showcased the Prima G.55S, India’s first LNG-powered tractor-unit with an unmatched range of 2400km. Coming to the buses, the Intercity EV 2.0 is an electric bus that is based on a new-gen modular architecture, while the Ultra E.12 is an electric, emission-free truck that is aimed at the urban freight sector.
The Ultra EV 9 bus is aimed at transporting people in urban environments. The Magna Coach bus is likely to be aimed at intercity travel, while the Azura T.19 truck is powered by bio-diesel and is based on an all-new architecture. Tata also added a new powertrain option to the very popular Ace pickup truck, enabling it to run on flex fuels – thus introducing the Ace Flex-fuel. And finally, amongst a long list of unveils at Tata Motors’ pavilion was the Tata Yodha CNG. The company also featured India’s first ADAS-enabled truck simulator at the Auto Expo, so that people could experience the world of trucking, albeit virtually.
