Morris Garages has officially showcased the Majestor at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025 with updated new-age styling and completely revised front and rear fascia.

MG Majestor exterior

The MG Majestor gets sleek LED DRLs with the actual headlights positioned below them, staying true to the design language of the MG Hector. The MG Majestor receives new matte-black side cladding, with pronounced wheel arches to give it an imposing stance and make room for the new wheels.

The MG Majestor also receives gloss black side mirrors and a blacked-out roof to give it a sporty dual-tone finish.

The MG Majestor receives what appears to be 19-inch wheels with styling to go with the revised elements and give it a butch appearance.

MG Majestor interiors

The D90 globally comes ladened with dual-tone interiors, a massive 12.3 inch full HD touchscreen display with chrome and gloss black inserts to elevate the premiumness within the cabin and give it an upmarket appeal. We hope these features make their way into the MG Majestor as well. This will truly give it an edge over its rivals.

The Majestor is based on the same Gloster platform

MG Majestor powertrain

The MG Majestor is based on the Maxus range of vehicles that is available globally, more specifically the Maxus D9. If that’s the case, the Majestor is speculated to be powered by the same powertrain that is available with the MG Gloster, a 2.0TT engine mated to a ZF 8-speed gearbox, producing 246.7bhp and 500Nm. MG might choose to couple the Majestor’s powertrain with a 48V mild hybrid system to improve efficiency. It is also expected that the MG Majestor will come with an optional 4WD system similar to the MG Gloster with multiple terrain modes to choose from.

MG Majestor safety

The D90 that the MG Majestor is based on receives a gamut of safety features, everything from a ACC self-adaptive cruise control system with a Lane Departure Warning system and Lane Keep Assist as well as six airbags and much more, although what will eventually make it to our shores is highly speculative and hasn’t been confirmed by MG India yet.

The Majestor gets a massive grille upfront

MG Majestor price and availability

Pricing and official date of release have not yet been confirmed but since MG is positioning it above the Gloster, expect the ex-showroom pricing to start above ₹45 Lakh and compete with vehicles such as the Toyota Fortuner and the speculated Ford Everest.
