Mercedes-Benz has launched the CLE 300 Cabriolet 4Matic AMG Line at ₹1.1 crore. It is available as a CBU (completely built units) in India.
The car gets a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system which produces 255bhp and 400Nm, boasting a claimed 0-100kmph time of 6.6 seconds. The mild hybrid system imparts a overboost function with an additional 27bhp. The transmission is a 9-speed AT that powers all four wheels with top speed limited to 250kmph.
The CLE Cabriolet is a sleekly designed open top which gets a soft-top that opens in 20 seconds. The soft-top can be had in either red or black colours. It gets 19-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels, star pattern on the radiator grille and digital LED lights. At the rear the LED lights are two-section but the housing is connected to give it a more seamless appearance.
On the inside, the car gets a 11.9-inch tiltable screen equipped with the third gen of MBUX. The instrument cluster is all digital 12.3-inch unit. Along with AMG sport seats, which are ventilated, the steering is wrapped with Nappa leather. The audio system is a Burmester 3D surround sound with integrated speakers in the headrest and on the decklid. In total there are 17 speakers producing 710 watts.
The CLE Cabriolet is available in limited units and will be available to book online only on the Mercedes-Benz India website.
