Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three variant launched at ₹30.50 lakh
The XEV 9e’s Pack Three variant gets a 79kWh battery pack with a 656km claimed range

Along with the price announcement for the BE 6 Pack Three, Mahindra Auto has also disclosed the pricing for the top-end "Pack Three" variant of its larger electric coupe-SUV, the XEV 9e. Priced at ₹30.50 lakh (ex-showroom), this variant is ₹7.6 lakh more expensive than the XEV 9e's entry-level "Pack One" variant. However, this price does not include the cost of the charger and installation. Bookings for the BE 6 Pack Three will open on February 14, 2025, with bookings for the other two variants set to begin in March. Deliveries are expected to start in early March 2025 as well.

The XEV 9e comes equipped with Bi-LED headlamps with DRLs and LED tail lamps. The Pack three variant gets 20-inch wheels. The front of the vehicle also displays Mahindra’s new illuminated logo. Both the BE 6 and XEV share the same platform, meaning they both feature a 2775mm wheelbase. The XEV's design is unique within the Mahindra portfolio, offering something truly distinct. Upfront there’s a blanked-off face, connected inverted fang style DRLs and split LED headlights. At the rear this SUV gets an even more aggressive sloping roof than the BE 6, wrap-around connected LED tail lights and a faux diffuser. It has a ground clearance of 207mm and measures 4789mm in length. The XEV also boasts a front cabin space of 1617 litres, touted as the largest in its segment, along with 1006mm of headroom, 1055mm of legroom, and 1522mm of shoulder room. For additional storage, the XEV provides a 150-litre frunk and a 663-litre boot.

The interior of the XEV is dominated by a massive 43.3-inch digital display, divided into three separate screens—one for the passenger, one for the infotainment system, and one for the driver's digital cluster. For entertainment and connectivity, the XEV comes with pre-installed OTT, social media, news, and shopping apps, along with features like cabin pre-cooling. Higher-end variants also include a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, ensuring top-tier audio quality. The infinity glass roof, capable of displaying 16 million hues, works in harmony with ambient lighting to create an immersive atmosphere. Safety is prioritized with ADAS Level 2+ supported by five radars, along with seven airbags in the top-spec variants and six airbags as standard. One of the standout features is the automatic parking function, which allows the XEV to park itself automatically, either from inside the cabin or remotely from outside the vehicle. Many of these advanced features will be offered as standard on base variants, with additional details to be shared closer to the vehicle’s launch.
Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Three battery, performance and range
The Pack Three XEV 9e a 79kWh LFP battery with a ARAI-certified 656km range. Mahindra claims it will do over 500km in the real-world with the air conditioning running. This battery can be charged from 20 to 80 per cent in just 20 minutes using a 175kW DC fast charger, and both battery packs come with a lifetime warranty. Powering the XEV is a single motor mounted on the rear axle making 282bhp and 380Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 6.8 seconds. There are three driving modes available – Everyday, Range, and Race – along with a Boost mode that provides additional power when needed.
Mahindra BE 6 price, booking, test drive and delivery details
The XEV 9e Pack Three demands ₹30.50 lakh, ex-showroom, without the cost of the charger. Mahindra is offering the ‘Three for Me’ finance programme with this variant which enables the buyer to own it at the same EMI as Pack One. Bookings for the XEV 9e open on February 14 and deliveries will begin from early March 2025. The Pack Three variant will be the first of the lot ot be delivered.Phased test drives begin on January 14, 2025 for six cities — Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Chennai — on January 24 for 15 cities — Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Cochin, Coimbatore, Goa, Howrah, Indore, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Surat, Vadodara, Chandigarh and Tricity. Pan-India test drives commence after February 7, 2025.
