The front and rear of the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar have been completely redesigned, featuring a new dark chrome grille flanked by quad-beam LED headlamps. The front end is further characterised by a full-length LED DRL with an H-pattern lighting signature. The front bumper is distinct from the Creta, with a silver skid plate element adding to its rugged look.
From the side, the new Alcazar rides on restyled 18-inch diamond-cut wheels. Additionally, the side-step has been replaced with silver rocker panel trim, and the roof now boasts bridge-type roof rails. The rear gets new connected taillights with an H-pattern signature, a spoiler, and a newly designed bumper and tailgate.
The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar inherits the revised interior from the new Creta, showcasing a tan and navy blue theme throughout. The dashboard features two 10.25-inch screens – one for the digital instrument cluster and another for the central infotainment system. Additional features include an 8-speaker Bose sound system, ambient lighting, and a voice-operated panoramic sunroof.
The Alcazar is available in six- and seven-seater configurations, with the second row of the six-seater variant benefiting from a wireless charger and ventilated seats. It also offers over 70 connected car features and ten ambient sounds of nature.
The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is equipped with 19 ADAS level 2 features, including forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, driver attention warning, and lane following assist. Additionally, it comes with six airbags, hill start assist, vehicle stability management, and disc brakes on all corners as standard.
The Alcazar comes with two engine options: a 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. In terms of power outputs, the turbo petrol produces 158bhp and 253Nm, while the diesel delivers 114bhp and 250Nm. The Alcazar also offers three drive modes (Normal, Eco, and Sport) and three traction modes (Snow, Mud, and Sand).
The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar range starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹14.99 lakh for the petrol and ₹15.99 lakh for the diesel. In the three-row vehicle segment, its closest rivals include the Kia Carens, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, Toyota Innova Hycross, and Maruti Suzuki Invicto.
