The 2024 Citroen C3 has been launched at ₹6.16 lakh. It gets automatic climate control, automatic ORVMs with turn indicators and enhanced safety systems. The main change is the option of a six-speed automatic transmission now.
The Citroen C3's design remains unchanged, but gets more equipment now. It gets LED projector headlamps and auto-folding ORVMs with turn indicators now. These subtle updates aim to keep the C3 competitive in the crowded hatchback segment.
Inside, the Citroen C3 continues to sport the same cabin as before, with a 10.2-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It gets additional features like automatic climate control, foldable roof grab handles on all doors, and power window switches on the doors. It also gets upto 40 connected car features with remote start, geo-fencing and more.
The Citroen C3 now comes with six airbags as standard across all variants. Other safety features include isofix child seat anchors, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, ESP, and ABS with EBD.
The Citroen C3 houses the same engine as before – 1.2-litre turbo petrol that pushes out 108.5bhp and 205Nm. But now it also gets an option of a six-speed automatic transmission, along with the five-speed manual transmission.
The updated Citroen C3’s prices starts from ₹6.16 lakh and is available for booking at Citroen dealerships and on the official website. Deliveries are set to begin in September 2024. It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Fronx priced at ₹8.37 lakh, Hyundai Exter priced at ₹6.12 lakh, and the Tata Punch priced at ₹6.12 lakh.
