TVS Jupiter gets new updates

TVS Motor Company has introduced a new ZX variant of the Jupiter, which now gets a front disc, a silent starter button and all-in-one keyhole which will operate the ignition along with the steering, seat and fuel tank lock.

The company’s i-Touchstart technology will enable the rider to instantly start the engine, without the crank noise, making it convenient for operation in stop-go traffic. The single keyhole adds to the slew of features the Jupiter has already been bestowed with.

The Jupiter currently makes 8bhp and 8Nm of twist from its 110cc engine. It features fuel injection and instant ignition, which is touted to improve fuel efficiency by 15 per cent over the previous models. It also incorporates an LED hedlamp, a two-litre glovebox and 21-litre underseat stowage with a mobile charger outlet. Other features include an adjustable suspension at the rear.

TVS has priced the Jupiter ZX disc variant at Rs 69,052 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it will come in three colour options — Matte Starlight blue, Starlight blue and Royal wine.
