Classic Legends has updated the Jawa 42 Dual Tone and Yezdi Roadster before the festive season. The Jawa 42 is priced at ₹1.98 lakh while the Yezdi Roadster at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
Jawa 42 Dual Tone Updates
The Jawa 42 Dual Tone updates are cosmetic and include clear lens indicators, shorter fenders, a dimpled fuel tank, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. The engine (which remains the same as before) now gets a new black finish, and so does the exhaust. It also gets a new bash plate, handlebar-mounted mirrors, and handlebar grips.
Jawa has also given the 42 DT new colourways – Cosmic Rock, Infinity Black, Starship Blue, and Celestial Copper.
Yezdi Roadster Updates
The Yezdi Roadster too gets some cosmetic updates. However, the biggest change is the forward set pegs, which are now 155mm forward, and a taller handlebar. This should make the rider’s triangle more relaxed, and Yezdi says this has been done to keep in tune with the feedback from their customers. However, Yezdi will also simultaneously sell the older Roadster without the altered ergonomics. This should allow the customers to choose ergonomics that better suit them.
The cosmetic changes are similar as those on the Jawa – clear indicators, dimpled fuel tank, diamond cut alloys, new mirrors and grips, along with the blacked-out engine and exhaust. The new colourways of the Yezdi Roadster are Rush Hour Red, Forest Green, Lunar White, and Shadow Grey.
Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster Engine Updates
No engine updates on either bike. The Jawa 42 continues to get the 27.3PS, 26.8Nm, 294.7cc liquid-cooled single, while the Yezdi Roadster gets a 29.5PS, 28.9Nm, 334cc liquid-cooled single.
Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster Rivals
These roadsters go up against the 350 twins from Honda, and the Royal Enfield’s Hunter and Meteor 350.
