What’s the FTR 1200 about?

The FTR 1200 S is powered by an all-new liquid-cooled, V-Twin, 1203cc making 121.3bhp and 120Nm cradled in a trellis frame. Braking duties are handled by twin 320mm discs at the front with four-pot calipers and a single 260mm disc with a 2 piston caliper. The bike gets USD forks at the front and monoshock at the rear both offering 150mm travel.

The FTR 1200 S is equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity. Riding modes on offer are Sports, Rain and Road. Electronics on this bike includes lean sensitive traction control, ABS, stability control and even wheelie mitigation control.

The styling of the FTR1200 is inspired by the two-time champ, FTR750. The Indian FTR 1200S is available in three colors.

Indian Motorcycle has also partnered with Orix India for leasing the bikes to enthusiasts at Rs 39,999/month. The Indian FTR 1200 S has no direct rivals in India and will make for an interesting prospect thanks to its looks and motorsport heritage.
