Aprilia RS 457 wins the 2025 IMOTY Award
The Indian Motorcycle Of The Year (IMOTY) award went to the Aprilia RS 457

The Indian Motorcycle Of The Year (IMOTY) award ceremony was held in Delhi on January 10, 2025, and the award was won by the Aprilia RS 457. The IMOTY jury consists of Indian automotive journalists, including evo India’s editor Sirish Chandran and assistant editor Aatish Mishra. These awards have been backed by JK Tyre ever since their inception.
There were a lot of contenders for the Indian Motorcycle of the Year, which included the Pulsar N125, the Hero Xtreme 125R, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla, the Bajaj Freedom 125, the Hero Mavrick, the Royal Enfield Bear 650 and the Triumph Speed T4. However it was the Aprilia that won the overall prize, with 98 points. The Bajaj Freedom 125 came in second place with 84 points, while the Hero Xtreme 125R came in third place with 63 points.

In addition to members from evo India, the jury consisted of Kartik Ware and Manaal Mahatme from Motoring World, Aspi Bhatena and Joshua Varghese from Bike India, Rahul Ghosh and Abhinav Jakhar from Auto Today, Shivank Bhatt from AutoX, Kranti Sambhav and Rohit Paradkar from Overdrive, Vikrant Singh and Pratheek Kunder from Bikewale, Abhay Verma from Turbocharged, Arpit Mahendra from TOI Auto, Varun Painter from Powerdrift and Manav Sinha from AutoX.
