Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced a limited edition SP125 motorcycle, known as the SP125 Sports Edition. This new variant can be distinguished primarily through its enhanced visual elements compared to the standard model. It features more prominent graphics on its body panels and a matte-finished exhaust muffler, unlike the chrome muffler from the standard model. Additionally, Honda has unveiled the bike in two fresh colour choices, Decent Blue Metallic and Heavy Grey Metallic.

The features list for the SP 125 Sports edition remains the same as the standard SP125 including components such as an LED headlamp, a fully digital instrument console equipped with a gear position indicator, an engine start/stop switch, and more. Similarly for the engine and key mechanical components, there have been no alterations to the SP 125 Sports edition. It continues to be powered by a 123.94cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.9Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm and equipped with a five-speed gearbox. The bike retains its 18-inch alloy wheels and utilises telescopic forks in the front and dual shocks at the rear for suspension. Braking is managed by disc brakes in the front and drum at the rear.

Introducing Honda’s latest limited edition offering, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “Ever since its introduction, the Honda SP125 has excited the customers with its advanced features, stylish design and thrilling performance in the 125cc premium commuter motorcycle segment. We are confident that the launch of the new SP125 Sports Edition will further delight our customers, especially the younger generation.”

The Honda SP125 Sports Edition motorcycle is priced at ₹90,567 (ex-showroom), making it only ₹550 pricier than the highest-spec SP 125 disc brake variant of the bike. Bookings are now open for this model, and it will be available for a limited time at all Honda Red Wing dealerships across the country.
