Motoroyale launches MV Agusta Dragster lineup in India from Rs 18.73 lakh
Barely a month after launching MV Agusta’s sports tourer, Turismo Veloce 800, Motoroyale has launched the exotic Dragster lineup in India. Though there are four variants available in the international markets, while we only get three – the Dragster 800 RR, Dragster 800 RR America and the Dragster 800 RR Pirelli. The base variant and the America are priced at Rs 18.73 lakh, while the Pirelli edition carries a sticker of Rs 21.5 lakh (all ex-showroom, India).
All about the exotic Italians
The Dragster series is essentially a spruced-up version of the Brutale 800 RR. The Dragster series flaunts a redesigned tail unit, unique spoked rims and a different front fender. However, the Dragster is a whole 7kg lighter than the Brutale.
The Dragster 800 RR America gets a red, blue, white paint job with a uniquely stitched seat. The paint job is a tribute to the original 1975 S America motorcycle.
The Dragster 800 RR Pirelli flaunts a tank and fairing made in rubber, formulated by the Italian tyre company. This makes the parts resistant to scratches.
All the three motorcycles get the same liquid-cooled, 798cc in-line three-cylinder engine developing 138bhp at 12,300rpm and 87Nm at 10,100rpm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox, same as the Brutale 800.
The Dragster series is handsomely equipped, with components like adjustable Marzocchi USD forks, Sachs monoshock, twin 320mm discs at the front with Brembo 4-pot caliper. The rear gets a 220mm disc with Brembo’s two-piston caliper.
The bookings have already commenced for the Dragster series while the deliveries are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
