The Triumph Speed Twin 900 has been updated for 2025 and prices for the motorcycle start from ₹8.89 lakh, ex-showroom. The Speed Twin 900 now gets a major styling refresh, an upgraded chassis and extra technology, and here’s everything you need to know about the updated motorcycle.

Triumph Speed Twin 900 design

The Speed Twin 900 now gets a sportier fuel tank with chiseled side panels and stylised throttle body covers, with the engine casings now being leaner. The silencer is also shorter, and the headlight unit is now more compact. The detailing on the Bonneville engine includes bright machined cooling fins on the cylinder head and finned header clamps, joined by black-wrapped stainless steel exhaust headers, shorter, upswept silencers and polished end caps. You also get a new aluminium flip-up filler cap on the tank, and a simpler design for the heel guards and footpegs. The new Speed Twin 900 has three distinctive colour options – a Pure White scheme with bright blue and orange stripes on the tank, a Phantom Black tank with dark grey stripes and gold accents, or the Aluminium Silver design with a splash of red framing the Triumph logo.

The Speed Twin 900 gets Marzocchi upside-down front forks, paired to twin Marzocchi piggy-back rear suspension units with preload adjustment. Mounted to a new stiffer and lighter aluminium swingarm. The rear wheel travel has reduced from 120mm to 110mm, to improve control without sacrificing comfort. You also get new wheels, fitted with Michelin Road Classic tyres, coupled with a Triumph-branded four-piston radial caliper, mounted to a larger 320mm front disc. The ergonomics have also been updated. The bench seat has a new shape to complement the narrower rear frame, and there’s an accessory low seat available that reduces the height by 20mm, from 780mm to 760mm.

The Speed Twin 900 is powered by a 900cc Bonneville twin

The Speed Twin 900 is powered by a 900cc Bonneville twin that produces 64bhp of power and 80Nm of torque, mated to a ride-by-wire system and a 5-speed gearbox. You get two riding modes – Road and Rain – and both systems are lean sensitive, with optimised cornering ABS and traction control fitted as standard.

Triumph Speed Twin 900 features

The new instruments include a large, bright LCD display with an integrated TFT display. This full colour screen is compatible with the accessory heated grips, as well as the Bluetooth Connectivity module, which brings turn-by-turn navigation, and the ability to view and control phone calls and music from your phone. Cruise control is now also available as an accessory, providing riders with greater comfort and convenience, particularly on longer rides. A USB-C socket is mounted on the side of the unit too, providing convenient charging mobile devices.
