The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 has just been unveiled and it has got several updates this year. For starters, it now has a more aerodynamic design. The V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine has also seen tweaks, making peak power a bit higher in the rev range. The changes extend to the chassis, which is now updated to be better for track riding. With that, Ducati has made changes to the ergonomics and software suite as well. Like before, the V4 S remains a more premium version of the bike. It gets an upgraded suspension kit and lighter components.

2025 Ducati Panigale V4 design and features

Ducati says the design for the new Panigale was inspired by the Ducati 916 while integrating aerodynamic and ergonomic ideas from Ducati’s MotoGP race bikes. With that, the front end of the new Panigale V4 has seen the most drastic change in terms of design. Ducati claims it to be 4 per cent more aerodynamic than before. The front wings, V-shaped DRLs and LED headlights still exist but with slight tweaks to go along with the new design. The way Ducati has designed the area around the radiator and the front mudguard is also said to improve air channels and thus improve engine cooling.

Coming to the side, Ducati has made the design more horizontal-aligned than before, again inspired by its race bikes. This also leads to ergonomic changes which according to the brand, gives the rider more control over the bike, while the new seat and tank design allows for better positioning and support during cornering. The footrests have been moved 10mm inwards as well. Finally, the rear too has seen some change, the biggest of which is definitely the introduction of the new double-sided swingarm. But that has got to do more with aerodynamics than with design. The tail section is now longer and wider.

There is a big update in the instrument cluster which now uses a larger 6.9-inch screen with more on-screen information and added layouts. Feature-wise, it continues with features like traction control, wheelie control, and launch control and has now added the new Ducati Quick Shift 2.0.

2025 Ducati Panigale V4 chassis

The brand says the target for this model was to make it more competitive by adjusting lateral and longitudinal stiffness levels to allow for the maximum performance possible out of the tyres and the engine. A new front frame and a new double-sided swingarm were developed for this. The front frame is over 700 grams lighter and reduced lateral stiffness by 40 per cent compared to the older model. This, according to the brand leads to more confidence during cornering and corner exits. Similar to this, the rear swingarm is now 2.7kg lighter and drops lateral stiffness by 37 per cent. With this traction is increased while exiting a corner.

As for the suspension kit, the V4 gets fully adjustable 43mm Showa forks up front, and a Sachs mono-shock at the rear. A Sachs steering damper is also standard. Braking duties are handled by newly developed Brembo Hypure callipers. These are said to disperse heat effectively, and thus perform better under stress. With this Ducati has also added a new eCBS feature which effectively activates the rear brake when you use the front brake (in track mode only) to allow for later braking and reducing lap times. Tyres are Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 and should allow you to explore the limits of the bike comfortably. With these new components and lighter callipers, the V4 is now 1kg lighter whereas the V4 S is now 2kg lighter.

2025 Ducati Panigale V4 powertrain

The Desmosedici Stradale engine is closely derived from Ducati’s MotoGP bike. Key updates include revised cam profiles with increased valve lift values. It shares the alternator and oil pump with the Panigale V4 R and uses the gearbox drum from the Superleggera V4. Additionally, the variable length intake horns now offer a greater range, with 25mm in the short configuration and 80mm in the long configuration.

The engine is now Euro 5+ compliant and delivers 213bhp at 13,500rpm and a maximum torque of 120.6Nm at 11,250rpm. The power figures are relatively similar with a 0.5bhp increase in peak power and a 3Nm decrease in torque but are now made higher in the rev range. Like before, you get an optional Akrapovic exhaust which bumps the power to 225bhp and reduces weight further.

2025 Ducati Panigale V4 S

As obvious, the V4 S gets an upgraded kit. Here you get Ohlins fully-adjustable suspension with Ohlins NPX-30 front forks and an Ohlins TTX 36 rear mono-shock. It also comes with lighter forged aluminium rims.

2025 Ducati Panigale V4 price and rivals

Prices haven’t been revealed yet, but with so much addition to the kit, expect the price also to be bumped up. The current V4 model is currently priced at Rs 27.73 lakh, whereas the V4 S demands a hefty sum of Rs 33.48 lakh. The new Panigale V4 will reach foreign dealerships in September and should come to India later in the year.
