Last year, Mohit Vashisth, from our evo India team, embarked on the Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey Ride, and to date, he cherishes the expedition and considers it as one of the best experiences of his life. You can read his report by clicking here. This year, too, 122 fellow motorcyclists are set on the expedition from Chandigarh all the way to the Himalayas. These riders will ride for around 18 days, covering more than 3000 kms in the Himalayas.

The riders will be divided into two groups: team Zoji La and team Zanskar, headed by the Royal Enfield rides team. Both teams will take a different route. One bunch will ride via Jammu and Kashmir, and the other from Manali. Both the teams will meet in Leh and, thereafter, ride to Umling La together. For the first time, RE Odyssey riders will visit the Siachen Base Camp – the Indian Army Base Camp in the Siachen Glacier region within Indian Territory. Also, for the first time, all the participants will celebrate Royal Enfield’s first-ever ‘Great Himalayan Adventure Festival’, which will be held in the heart of Leh between August 15 - 18.

Riding in the mountains, especially through our treacherous and enduring Himalayas, will definitely be a fulfilling experience, and the 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey seems like a perfect blend of adventure and exploration for all the participants.
