For 2022, the Yamaha FZS-Fi remains mechanically unchanged. What’s new, is the updated colour schemes and a few feature updates. The Yamaha FZS-Fi Dlx variant will be available in three colour schemes — Metallic Black, Metallic Deep Red, Solid Gray.
As aforementioned, the bike remains mechanically unchanged over the models it replaces, meaning it is powered by the same 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is good for 12.2bhp at 7250rpm and 13.3Nm of twist at 5500rpm. It uses the same steel diamond frame and is suspended on the same telescopic fork set up at the front and a seven-step preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking is taken care of by a 282mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the rear with the safety net of single-channel ABS. In terms of features, both bikes now get LED lighting at both ends and a Bluetooth enabled instrument cluster.
