Auto Expo 2020: Mercedes-Benz roll in the A-Class Limousine

• Mercedes claim the AMG GT 63 S 4 door coupe is the fastest car Expo

Mercedes-Benz has showcased a whole host of products at the Auto expo 2020. The lineup included production cars, electric cars and concept cars. It started proceedings with the all-new GLA, the new entry-level SUV for the brand in India, which is set to debut later this year. The all-new GLA comes with a revised exterior that includes new styling and follows the new design language that Mercedes-Benz has been using for its SUVs. The A-Class limousine that will be a long wheel base version of the A-Class sedan was also launched today. Mercedes have started accepting bookings for this with deliveries beginning in June. All those who pre-book will get a special offer of 1-lakh off the car.

The Mercedes-Benz stand also had its performance brand AMG, with its mighty AMG G63 and AMG C 43 Coupe on display, with the show stopper in the form of AMG GT 63 S 4 door coupe that Mercedes-Benz has boldly claimed as the fastest production four-seater, powered by a 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 635bhp, getting you from 0-100kmph in 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 315kmph. Styling wise, the AMG GT 4 door shares it lines with the AMG GT coupe with the long hood giving it a sporting grand tourer look.

The brand also displayed the Volocopter flying car concept, a first for Mercedes-Benz at the Auto Expo, displaying it alongside its EQC electric car, slated to be launched next month. Showcasing its digital innovations, Mercedes wants to emphasise that it intends to be future ready with its product lineup in India.
