Audi India has teased the RS7 Sportback on its official website. The teaser suggests that the second-gen RS7 is ready to make its debut in India. And we can even confirm that the sport saloon will go on sale sometime in the month of July.
The performance-oriented version of the A7 will be powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 in conjunction with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The motor in the RS7 churns out a colossal 591bhp and 800Nm of torque and will be paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The RS7 will be offered with an all-wheel-drive system and Audi claims that it can clock 0-100kmph in a record time of 3.6 seconds which is 0.3 seconds quicker than the previous version.
On the outside, the RS7 looks wider than before and the aggressive frontal styling with a glossy black honeycomb grille gives it a sporty stance.
The Audi RS7 Sportsback is expected to be pricier than the previous RS7 that came with a sticker of Rs 1.7 Crore. The RS7 will take on the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S and the BMW M5 Competition.
