2018 edition of the Rainforest Trophy (RFT) announced

RFC international has announced the second edition of the Rainforest Trophy which will be conducted from July 13-20, 2018 in the rainforests of Malaysia. The Rainforest Challenge (RFC) is the 9th toughest motor race in the world. Indian enthusiasts who wish to participate in the challenge can either get their own 4×4 jeeps to the location, if not possible they even have an option of renting a vehicle in Malaysia.

The Rainforest Challenge began in Malaysia first in 1997. Since then, the competition has spread to other countries like Italy, Russia, The Balkans, Poland, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Tunisia, China and Australia and since four years in India. Last year’s RFT was divided into four progressively difficult competitive legs – the Prologue, the Predator, the Terminator and the Twilight Zone and we expect this year’s challenge to follow the same lines.

Following is the fee structure for RFT 2018 –

Standard fees for overseas entries (2 passengers in a vehicle): $ 2000. (Includes entry to RFT 2018, goodies stickers and event insurance only.)
Extra passenger in the vehicle: $ 1000 per person (includes entry to RFT 2018, goodies stickers and event insurance only.)
Touring adventures entries: $ 1300 per person (includes entry to RFT 2018, goodies event insurance and hot meals at campsites only.)
