Gaurav Gill ready to return to WRC2
The multiple APRC and national rally champ will be racing in the final round of the WRC, held in Australia
The 2019 Rally of Australia will be held from 14-17 November. Gill had raced in Rally of Australia last year and put on a great show, he will be returning to familiar ground and a few days of successful testing has set him up nicely for the race. He commented “I have had very good testing here over the last few days. I have made a lot of changes to the chassis and the handling of the car and I have a good feeling about the new car. I can’t wait to start the rally, since I’ve been here and have had top times in the past I’m confident of a positive result too,”
He will be racing as a registered driver this time around and has his eyes set on the podium, no easy feat with the tough competition but judging by the fact that it his preferred surface, he has a very good chance of making it up there. Sanjay Sharma, head of JK Tyre Motorsports, said “It’s great to see Gaurav Gill behind the wheel at one of his favourite terrains, we would like to see him drive in his usual aggressive self and make an impact,”

Perhaps as much in love with Porsche 911s as he is with sneakers (and good food), Karan claims his love for cars started before he learnt to speak, even though there is a rumour around the office that he fell asleep while attending his first ever Grand Prix!
