2025 Dakar Rally Stage 10: Nani Roma wins the cars category, Michael Doherty leads the bikes
Here’s a quick update from Stage 10 of the Dakar Rally

Stage 10 of the 2025 Dakar Rally took the competitors from Haradh to the sand dunes in the Empty Quarter, and it also resulted in a shake-up in the standings. Nani Roma posted the fastest time in the cars category and won the stage, while it was Michael Docherty who finished in first position in the bikes category. Here’s a breakdown of the class-wise standings after the tenth stage of the rally.
2025 Dakar Rally bikes
As mentioned above, BAS World KTM Racing rider Michael Docherty clocked the fastest time in Stage 10, with Rui Goncalves from the Sherco Rally Factory team finishing in second place. Docherty’s teammate Tobias Ebster completed the podium in the bikes category, finishing 2 minutes and 21 seconds behind the leader.
2025 Dakar Rally cars
Nani Roma from the Ford M-Sport team won the tenth stage of the Dakar Rally in the cars category, followed closely by Lucas Moraes from Toyota Gazoo Racing, who was just 18 seconds off the leader’s pace. Dania Akeel from Team BBR finished the stage in third place, completing the podium in the cars category.
2025 Dakar Rally trucks
Ales Loprais clocked the fastest time in the trucks category for his team Instatrade Loprais, with Mitchell Van Den Brink from the Eurol Rally Sport outfit coming in second place, 48 seconds behind the leader Loprais. Martin Macik from the MM Technology team completed the podium for trucks in Stage 10 of the 2025 Dakar Rally.
Indians at the 2025 Dakar Rally
Sanjay Takale is racing in the Classic category of the 2025 Dakar, and the Indian competitor finished the tenth stage of the rally in 17th position. Sanjay Takale is the first Indian to take part in a four-wheeler category of the Dakar Rally, and is currently the only Indian competitor still present in the rally.
