JK Tyre FMSCI National Karting Championship; Rotax class was held at Meco Kartopia track in Bengaluru.
Rotax class is the two-stroke class comprising of three categories.
Shahan of Msport took the title in round one of the JK Tyre – FMSCI National Karting Championship. He won both the final and pre-final races and accumulated 89 points. Trailing him closely was Faridabad’s Manav Sharma, racing for Peregrine racing. He finished second in both the races and scored a total of 85 points. The third position was occupied by Coimbatore’s Bala Prashath with a total of 82 points.
Both Manav and Bala are seasoned drivers from the LGB Formula 4 category of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship.
Bengaluru’s Mihir of Birel Art, who won the opening round of the X-30 class earlier this month, continued on the top of the leader board in the Junior Max category. He won both the final and the pre-final race at the first position with 89 points. On his tail was his team-mate, Rushon who finished on the second spot with 83 points. The third position was occupied by another of Birel Art racers, Ruhaan Alva. He finished second in the opening race and third in the last race and scored 83 points to tie with Rushon. But he was awarded the third position since he finished behind his team-mate in the third race.
Ishaan Madhesh of Peregrine Racing held the top spot with two wins and a total of 89 points. Trailing in the second spot is Ranveer Singh of Birel Art with 85 points while Jagrat Detroja of Peregrine Racing is third with 82 points.
