It was a big day and special occasion for TVS Racing at the 2018 FMSCI National Championship Awards held in Mumbai today. FIA president Jean Todt and other top FMSCI officials were present at the awards ceremony. The homegrown factory racing outfit got the top spot in 12 out of 13 categories it participated. Additionally, it won awards in all categories, including Supercross, Rally, drag racing and road racing classes.
TVS Racing won the “Best Team” and “Manufacturer of the Year” awards in the Super Sport Indian category (up to 165cc) in the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC). This is the 4th consecutive year that the team has won the two awards.
Factory riders K Jagan, Harith Noah, Imran Pasha, R. Nataraj, Rajendra RE and Aravind Ganesh received awards for their performances in the 2018 season. Aishwarya Pissay bagged the championship yet again in the Ladies class in the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC).

On winning awards in multiple categories, B. Selvaraj, Team Manager, TVS Racing said, “We are delighted to win the championships for almost all two-wheeler motorsport categories this year. With each passing season, we have consistently improved our performance to outperform our own past achievements and 2018 was another year of dominance. Lastly, this gives us immense confidence to push harder, perform better and set new standards in the upcoming racing season.”
Harith Noah, riding RTR 300 FX, won the Group A category (Foreign motorcycles up to 500cc 4 stroke). Next, Imran Pasha won both the Group C Novice as well as Indian expert class (both categories for Indian 4-stroke motorcycles up to 260cc), riding an Apache RTR200.
R Nataraj, riding RTR 450 FX, won the Super Bike – Pro Expert class (for 4 stroke motorcycles up to 600cc). Rajendra RE won the Super Sport Indian (Indian 4-stroke motorcycles up to 165cc). Imran Pasha once again won the Super Sport Indian category (Indian 4-stroke motorcycles up to 165cc) on an Apache RTR 160. Next, Aishwarya Pissay, also riding an Apache 200 won the Ladies class. Judges declared R Nataraj the winner in the Overall Category.
K. Jagan won the Super Sport Indian category ( 4-stroke motorcycles up to 165cc) riding an Apache RTR 160. Additionally, judges declared TVS Racing and TVS Motor Company the best team and best manufacturer, respectively, in the Super Sport Indian class (4-stroke motorcycles upto 165cc).

Finally, judges conferred special recognition to Abdul Wahid Tanveer for his outstanding performance in International Rallies
