Reise Moto hosts interaction with Ashish Raorane in Mumbai
Ashish Raorane was present at the Reise Moto Store for a special screening of the Destination Dakar docuseries

We recently had the chance to meet Ashish Raorane at the Reise Moto Store in Mumbai. The Dakar Rally rider was present for a special screening of a three episode docuseries called ‘Destination Dakar’, which took us through the rider’s journey as he prepared for the 2025 Dakar Rally, and also through the development of the Dakar variant Reise torqR series tyre.
The docuseries consists of three episodes, taking us through the brutal realities of the Dakar Rally, including the initial challenges that Raorane faced, such as his crash in the 2024 Dakar. The docuseries also highlights the tyre-testing journey of the Reise torqR series tyre through the Baja Aragon rally and testing in Jaisalmer. The final episode of this docuseries highlights the collaboration of Raorane and Reise Moto at the Rallye du Maroc, before the rider headed off to the 2025 Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia. This docuseries is also available on Reise Moto’s YouTube channel. Following the screening, the attendees were treated to a question and answer session with Raorane.

He went on to add that, “It’s not just about the races but about the stories of resilience, preparation and innovation behind them. I’m grateful for Reise Moto’s support and for everyone who came to celebrate this journey." Raorane also shared stories of the behind the scenes preparation which take place prior to competing in a gruelling rally such as the Dakar.
