2025 Dakar Rally Stage 4: Hero MotoSports’ Nacho Corejo P3, Ross Branch 15th
Hero MotoSports team scored another podium today in the 2025 Dakar Rally as Stage 4 presented new challenges to the riders

The fourth stage of the 2025 Dakar Rally saw Hero MotoSports making a notable impact and securing a podium in a stage that tested both speed and navigation. The stage, stretching 415km, took the competitors from technical tracks to stony terrain, offering challenges at every turn. Despite the tough conditions, Hero MotoSports’ Ross Branch and Jose Ignacio Cornejo made significant progress.
Nacho, as Jose Cornejo is famously known, continued his steady race strategy today as well. With many riders losing time over the technical bits, Jose was right in the mix, even setting the second-fastest time at one checkpoint. By the end, he secured a P3 finish around eight minutes behind the leader. Hero’s leading rider, Ross Branch, showcased his determination once again. After clocking competitive times throughout the stage, Branch secured the third-fastest time at the 249 km mark, pushing him back into the spotlight. But with 20km to go, he lost significant time because of wrong navigation and finished down in 15th. He maintains his overall 3rd position but now trails the leader by over 26 minutes.
Tomorrow the rally will progress to Hail with a 428km special. The tracks are super fast right from the start before eventually turning into wide acres of sand. The stage’s finish will be on rocky terrain right outside Hail.
