The all-new Honda Motocompacto is an electric scooter paying homage to Honda's iconic Motocompo from the early 1980s. The Motocompacto maintains a charming retro aesthetic, boasting an all-white body exuding a timeless appeal. It still carries over the remarkable foldable design, allowing it to shrink down to 29.2 inches in length, 21.1 inches in height, 3.7 inches in width and weighing in at approximately 18.73kg, making it incredibly portable for urban commuters.

Performance-wise, the Motocompacto has a range of 20km on a single charge, and recharges to full in just 3.5 hours using the onboard charger and a standard household outlet. Its front-wheel drive system delivers a top speed of 24 kmph, making it a perfect fit for quick first- and last-mile journeys. Motocompacto can quickly transform into a compact, stackable carrying case. This feature makes it an ideal companion for those who need to hop in and out of vehicles, navigate public transportation, or stow it away in tight spaces with ease.

The Motocompacto was also designed with safety, durability, and security in mind since it uses a robust heat-treated aluminium frame and wheels, and is equipped with bright LED headlight and taillight, side reflectors, and a welded steel lock loop on the kickstand that is compatible with most bike locks. Additionally, it boasts a comfortable seat, secure grip foot pegs, on-board storage, a digital speedometer, a charge gauge, and a convenient carry handle. Riders can fine-tune their riding experience with a user-friendly smartphone app, connecting via Bluetooth.

Notably, the Motocompacto bears the distinction of being uniquely American in design, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Honda engineers from Ohio and California. To enhance the overall Motocompacto experience, Honda offers an extensive range of branded accessories, including stylish backpacks and apparel. For those who prioritise safety, practical add-ons like helmets are also available. The scooter's clean, white canvas is intentionally designed to encourage personalization with stickers, allowing owners to infuse their unique character and, in turn, elevate the joy of owning this electric scooter.
