The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 is a significant upgrade in TVS's scooter lineup, offering an attractive combination of design, practicality, and performance. Priced from ₹74,691, the latest model brings several improvements, including hybrid assistance technology, which makes it a serious contender in the already crowded scooter market. Let’s explore the different aspects of the Jupiter 110, focusing on its design, features, ride quality, performance, and whether it deserves a space in your garage.

2024 TVS Jupiter 110 design and features

The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 maintains its familiar silhouette but with a sharper and more modern appearance. Gone are the boxy elements of earlier models, replaced by a sleeker, more refined design. LED lighting at the front and rear, including LED light bars integrated into the indicators, adds a premium touch and ensures better visibility. This modern lighting setup brings the Jupiter 110 in line with the latest trends in the scooter market, enhancing both safety and aesthetics. Overall, the scooter is well-built and the design should appeal to buyers of all ages. And since the Jupiter 110 has been on the road for so long, mechanical and build quality issues are also minimal.

One of the standout changes is the relocation of the fuel lid to the front apron, improving the scooter’s overall ergonomics and making refuelling more convenient. The under-seat storage remains impressive with 33 litres of space, perfect for holding all your personal belongings and groceries, though you still can’t fit a full-face helmet. The seat itself is 756mm in length, ensuring ample comfort for both rider and passenger during commutes. The higher variants also come equipped with a digital instrument cluster, a welcome upgrade from the analogue consoles of previous models. This digital console is integrated with TVS’s SmartXconnect Bluetooth system, offering features such as call and SMS alerts, navigation assistance, and a range of other smart functions like emergency brake warning and Follow Me headlamps.

2024 TVS Jupiter 110 ride and handling

The ride quality and handling of the 2024 Jupiter 110 have seen notable improvements, thanks to a new chassis borrowed from its larger sibling, the Jupiter 125. This new setup has allowed TVS to lower the scooter’s centre of gravity, courtesy of the repositioned fuel tank, which in turn improves stability and handling. This lower centre of gravity, combined with 12-inch wheels, results in a scooter that feels planted on the road, even when navigating through dense city traffic or tackling sharp corners. In that respect, even the MRF tyres are grippy and handle all road conditions comfortably. The Jupiter 110’s ability to stay composed on uneven surfaces, such as potholes and speed bumps, adds to its user-friendly appeal.

TVS has managed to strike a good balance between manoeuvrability and comfort. The scooter’s chassis is designed to handle quick directional changes with ease, making it an ideal choice for urban riders who frequently deal with tight spaces and congested roads. The ergonomic setup caters to riders of various sizes, with enough legroom and a comfortable handlebar position even for taller riders. The seat is also soft and accommodating for both short city rides and longer journeys, although if longer trips are a frequent affair the soft seat can start to cause a few sore spots.

2024 TVS Jupiter 110 performance

In terms of performance, the 2024 Jupiter 110 has been given a significant upgrade with its 113.3cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. Producing 7.9bhp at 6,500rpm and 9.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm, the engine feels peppy and responsive, especially in the lower and mid-range. An added feature in this model is the iGO assist technology, which provides an additional torque boost when needed, such as during overtakes. This makes a noticeable difference in real-world riding, as the scooter accelerates rather quickly and rides well in city traffic.

The iGO system integrates an electric motor that supports silent starts and an auto stop-start function, aimed at improving fuel economy during stop-and-go traffic conditions. TVS claims a 10 per cent improvement in fuel efficiency, with the Jupiter 110 offering a claimed mileage of 50kmpl. On our test though, riding spiritedly, we got a mileage of 40kmpl. While it isn’t a scooter built for top-speed performance, it comfortably reached 80kmph during our test ride.

2024 TVS Jupiter 110 verdict

The 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 continues to build on the solid reputation of its predecessors, but with enough upgrades to keep it competitive in a rapidly evolving market. Its design is now more refined, featuring LED lighting and gloss black finishes that give it a contemporary and premium feel. The addition of practical features like the SmartXconnect digital console and sufficient storage make it a good consideration for urban riders. The suspension and handling traits are also tuned in a way that makes it approachable for riders of all ages and skill sets.

For a starting price of ₹74,691, the 2024 TVS Jupiter 110 offers a compelling package of style, performance, and practicality, making it one of the best choices for families and commuters alike.
