Showcased an electric folding bike, the straphanger, Essentia Connect and Easy Step
On display were the Townmaster, Glide and E-Zephyr as well from Hero Cycle's stable
It looks like Auto Expo 2020 is all about ‘Exploring the world of mobility’ and Hero Cycles has left no stone unturned to woo the attendees with its wide range of upcoming products including electric bicycles. Hero Cycles, who recently acquired a German firm HNF Nicolai showcased three bikes, the Straphanger, the Essentia Connect and the Easy Step range which are from the German firm’s stable.
While the Easy Step is an e-bike designed for urban use that comes with 7 gears and can be folded easily in 30 seconds for convenience on the go, the Straphanger is an e-bike that comes with a range of 50km on pure electric power and can be taken off the road as well. The Essentia Connect comes with a 250W motor in the rear hub that helps the bike attain a top speed of 25kmph. Hero Cycles said that all the three models on display that were showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 are prototypes.

Hero Cycles also displayed cycles from its existing portfolio in the Urban cycle segment including the Townmaster, Glide and E-Zephyr apart from the business solutions and accessories to promote e-bikes like baskets and batteries with higher range as well.
