The LA Auto show will open its doors for media on November 19 and we expect to see a host of exciting and very important new cars on display from brands like Ford, Audi, Mercedes and others. Below are some of the highlights you can expect from one of the most glamorous auto shows on the calendar.

Ford Mustang Mach E

One of the most important new cars on display at this year’s LA Auto Show, the Mach E is Ford’s first car built from the ground up to be all-electric and the fact that it bears the pony badge has just multiplied the attention it received.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS

The GLS is Mercedes’ S-Class of SUVs and being that the Maybach is the ultimate iteration of the S-Class it only made sense for Mercedes-Benz to launch an ultra luxury full size palace on wheels that can go just about anywhere.

Mini John Cooper Works GP

The fastest Mini yet might not seem like a big deal but if you recall the previous John Cooper Works versions of the cars, you do realise that this is no small feat. The Mini John Cooper Works GP actually lapped around the ‘Ring faster than a 996 Porsche 911 GT3.

Volkswagen ID Space Vizzion concept

What’s a motor show without a new Volkswagen ID concept? The Space Vizzion is borrows design elements from the family like the Volkswagen ID family headlights. The production version is set to hit international markets in 2021.

Audi E-Tron Sportback

The coupe version of Audi’s all-electric SUV, the E-Tron, was shown at Geneva last year albeit with heavy camouflage. We will see the near production version of the E-Tron Sportback at this year’s LA Auto Show. We expect the E-Tron Sportback to be mechanically identical to the Audi E-Tron that was launched in India earlier this year.
