TVS rolls out 4 millionth Apache from Mysore

15 years into production, the TVS Apache brand reaches a big milestone

TVS Motor Company has commemorated 4 million Apache Series bikes sold on October 7,2020. The Apache has been in production at TVS' Mysore plant since 2005. Over the 15-period, TVS has sold the Apache in both domestic and global markets. Apache has been part of both the sport commuter scene in India as well as the One Make Championship in road racing.
To celebrate this milestone, TVS has set a new Asia and India record for the longest chequered flag, spanning 957 feet, featuring pictures of customers on their Apaches.
Commenting on the milestone, Mr. K.N. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V uses Eurogrip tyres

The Apache series comprises the RTR naked motorcycles such as the Apache RTR 160, 160 4V and 2004V. Along with this, TVS also introduced their first fully-faired premium motorcycle, the RR 310, In 2017 which arose from its JV with BMW Motorrad on its G 310 R and GS platform, for which manufacturing is undertaken at the Hosur plant. Across the Apache range, TVS has made leaps and strides on development of its flagship model range, Apache, leading its segment many a time with pioneering features. Some examples of this are the SmartXonnect Bluetooth smartphone interface which can be seen on most of its motorcycles today, and even on the Ntorq for that matter. TVS has also been the first to introduce a race-tuned slip-and-assist clutch on a 200cc+ motorcycle with the RTR 200 4V and the RR 310.The Apache range is sold across TVS' domestic dealership network comprising of more than 2500 locations and also in 60 countries across the globe.

As for enthusiast customers, TVS also has many racing and training programs which it runs around the year apart from taking part in rally sports. It also has the Apache Owners Group which organizes rides on a regular basis.
