The Jeep Wrangler has been around for a long time, and in that time it has developed a cult following among off-road enthusiasts. To commemorate Jeep's 80th anniversary, the company has introduced the Wrangler 1941 — the most capable Wrangler the brand has ever made. It is based on the Rubicon and is equipped with Jeep and Mopar Performance Parts which aid its off-road ability even more, it has a two-inch suspension lift kit, under-body protection, wheel arch extensions and a 1941 bonnet decal which differentiates it from other models in the range. The best part? Factory-fitted performance parts mean no bar to the three year warranty, every accessory is tested and evaluated for the Wrangler 1941.

Other modifications include front and rear splash guards, a black fuel filler door, black door sill guards and all-weather mats. The Wrangler 1941 is available in four colors — Brilliant Black, Granite Crystal, Firecracker Red and Billet silver.

Under the hood, the Wrangler 1941 is unchanged from the standard Wrangler Rubicon, powered by a 2.2-litre Multijet diesel engine which makes 197bhp and 450Nm of torque.

In terms of pricing, if we use prices for the standard Wrangler Rubicon, which starts at Rs 69.04 lakh, as an indicator the Wrangler 1941 would be priced around Rs 76.04 lakh if it ever comes to our shores. But sadly, that is highly unlikely since the Wrangler 1941 is limited to 41 units, all of which are reserved for the United Kingdom.
