Triumph has revealed a limited edition of their iconic twin, the 2019 Bonneville T120 Diamond Edition at EICMA 2018, Milan. The unique Snowdonia White and Aluminium Silver ‘Union flag’ paint scheme pays homage to the legendary original 1959 Bonneville and features styling cues from the 60’s Bonneville.
Powering this one-off Bonny is a 1200cc eight-valve, parallel twin High Torque Bonneville motor with a power output of 79bhp at 6,550rpm and 105Nm of peak twist available from 3,100rpm. The torquey motor is mated to 6-speed gearbox. The linear power delivery is courtesy of the 270° firing interval. It is fitted with peashooter style exhaust pipes that delivers the true soundtrack of a British twin cylinder motorcycle.
Triumph claims that the new 1200 produces 54 percent more torque and is 13 percent more fuel efficient compared to its previous generation. Additionally the cost of ownership has also gone down, thanks to new extended service interval of 116,000km.
