Maruti Suzuki launched the BS6 compliant Ertiga S-CNG at Rs. 8.95 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi). Maruti Suzuki has claimed that the Ertiga S-CNG offers a mileage of 26.08 km/kg. While the CNG model has been around since July last year, it has now compliant with BS6 norms. A marginal price increase of Rs. 7000 has also been effected.
Apart from that, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG is unchanged. As before, it is only available in a single, variant, and continues to get the same features and safety kit.
The Ertiga’s petrol unit makes 90bhp and 122Nm of torque on CNG. However, the mileage has dropped marginally from 26.2km/kg in BS4 guise to 26.08km/kg now. Maruti Suzuki has sold over 5.28 lakh units of the Ertiga since the MPV was first launched.
