Dakar Rally 2023 Stage 3

Stage 3 of the Dakar Rally 2023 was far easier for the competitors thanks to the absence of rocks in the terrain, with a picturesque landscape for the riders to look on. At the end of the day, the rains caused trouble however, with the stage being halted at the third checkpoint (377km). Hero MotoSport's riders had finished the stage before the weather got unfavourable.

J-Rod’s comfort with the terrain meant he finished in 9th, moving up by one place in the overall Rally GP class standings. Ross Brach pushed his way further up the rankings as well, now at 10th place in the overall rankings. Franco Caimi moved up two places in the overall Rally GP class standings, despite him not feeling fully comfortable with the bike during the stage.
