Yamaha launches Saluto RX at Rs 46,400 

Yamaha India have launched a new entry-level commuter motorcycle, the Saluto RX and it is priced at Rs 46,400 (ex showroom Delhi).

The Saluto RX get a newly developed 110cc, single cylinder, SOHC engine making 7.3bhp at 7,000rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. The new engine is based on the company’s ‘Blue Core’ engine technology and offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 82 kmpl. The Saluto RX weighs only 98 kgs, making it the lightest bike in its segment.

Apart from the engine, the Saluto RX gets a sporty design, vibrant colour schemes, telescopic front suspension, high ground clearance and alloy wheels – specially made to tackle Indian road conditions. According to the company the new Saluto RX will appeal to those customers who wish to have an economical, sporty and comfortable commuter motorcycle.
