VW wins the most innovative volume brand at the 2018 Automotive Innovations Awards

Volkswagen received the award “Most Innovative Volume Brand” from the Centre of Automotive Management (CAM) at the 2018 Automotive Innovations award ceremony at Frankfurt. In addition to this, VW also received two more awards as the most innovative brand in the categories of ‘Interface and Connectivity’ and “Autonomous Driving and Safety.’

According to a study by CAM in association with Pricewaterhouce Coopers (PwC), this year VW was one of the most progressive brand in terms of volume, defending the company’s position from the previous year.  This year VW showcased 60 different innovations which include Trailer Assist (available in the Golf and the Tiguan), Gesture Control available on the Golf update, Doorbird app – connecting the car with one’s home intercom system, Side Assist Plus and Rear Traffic Alert (Tiguan will be the first in its segment to feature these technologies), led to the success of the VW brand.
