Volvo opens its first dealership in Rajasthan

The 90 year old Swedish car maker Volvo is making further inroads in to the Indian market by opening up its first dealership in the state of Rajasthan. This is dealership in Jaipur marks the brand’s expansion to fifteen cities in the country.  In addition to the 5500sq ft dealership, Morani Volvo, the dealer has opened a 17,000 square feet workshop in the city as well.

At the inaugural event, Managing Director of Volvo, Mr. Tom Von Bonsdorff said, “We will target luxury car buyers and create more value for our increasing customer base in the city and connecting markets. With Jaipur being a prime hub for automobile in the state, we will sell our regular car line up.”

Volvo already has a fair presence around the country, with dealerships in Delhi, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata and Vijayawada. After this dealership in Jaipur, the Swedish carmaker plans to expand to Lucknow and Pune in the near future.
