Auto Expo 2016: UM launch Renegade series from 1.49 lakh (ex-Delhi)

UM Motorcycles, which announced its entry into the Indian market earlier this year. UM International has entered the Indian market in collaboration with Lohia Autos. Out of the slew of motorcycles that they will launch over the next year, the first to break cover is their Renegade series. The Renegade will enter the market as a low-slung cruiser with a 279cc water cooled engine and make 25bhp@8500 rpm, the 21.8 Nm of torque.

UM have unveiled three variants at the Auto Expo, the Renegade Classic, the Commando and the Sport S. All variants will share the same engine and will only differ in cosmetic detailing. They will come with 18 liter fuel tanks and will tip the scales at 172 kg. UM has also announced that the Commando and the Sport S will come with electronic start and a Paper element air-filter.

The Renegade Classic, Commando and Sport S will be priced at 1.49,1.59 and 1.69 lakh respectively( ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available in showrooms across India.
