TVS has launched of a revised version of their most successful brands, the Victor. While the TVS Victor will retain the original 110 cc heart, it will be positioned slightly above their existing 110cc Star City series. The new TVS Victor will feature a three-valve head, a first-in-class CV carburettor and unique combustion chamber oil cooling for engine temperature reduction, TVS have also introduced spring loaded rocker arms to reduce NVH from the Tappets. The 110cc has a claimed 7.2 second 0-60kmph time.
As far as the design goes, the Victor shows off more curves and pinched edges. TVS say that headlamp offers best in class illumination. Instrumentation includes a digital speedometer with an analogue tachometer. The Victor will also come in drum and disc options, and likely to tip the scales at around 112Kg for the drum and 113Kg for the additional drum.
Priced at Rs 51,490(ex-showroom Delhi) for the disc brake version and Rs 49,490 for the drum brake version, the Victor offers quite a lot in terms of features, performance and comfort. Ben was in Bangalore putting it through the paces, here is his review.
