Dubbed the Tiger 800 XCA, the newest Tiger will sit on top of the Tiger 800 lineup in India. It is priced at Rs 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Tiger 800 XCA features an 650W alternator for heated rider and pillion seats, heated grips and LED fog lamps that come as standard on this variant. The alternator can also be used to power other auxiliary devices such as a GPS system or heated apparel. So if you plan to ride a little more off the beaten path, the new Tiger 800 XCA will make a lot of sense.
The bike retains the same liquid-cooled 800cc in-line three motor mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Power output remains the same at 94bhp and 79Nm of torque. Shifter mechanism is borrowed from the Daytona resulting in faster shifts. In addition, the motorcycle now gets ride-by-wire throttle, four traction modes, switchable ABS and cruise control.
Adding this variant to their extensive range of adventure bikes, Triumph has consolidated the category in India taking the ethos of adventure a step further. Triumph has received an overwhelming response from the Indian market leading to them opening their 11th showroom at Indore and plans to open a 12th one in Jaipur soon. Tiger 800 XCA  comes with the additional colour options of  Crystal White and Khaki Green colour options.
